Bio:

Taylor Correa (b.1993) is an emerging representational oil painter who grew up in Southern California. Her interest in art began at an early age, spending many afternoons drawing and painting with her grandmother. After graduating high school in 2011, she moved to Buffalo, New York to study Graphic Design at Buffalo State University. While attending college, Correa took courses in Art History, Oil Painting, and Drawing. After falling in love with these courses, she decided it was time to pursue a career in Fine Art.

Since graduating with a Bachelor’s in Art in 2015, she has found continual inspiration painting the natural world around her. She is often drawn to painting figures, florals, and the occasional plein air landscape.

Correa’s work has been showcased in galleries across the United States. She has been featured in American Art Collector, The Artist’s Magazine and named one of Southwest Art Magazine’s 21 Under 31: Young Artists to Buy Now. Her work was also highlighted in Blick Art Materials Artist Serving Artists documentary series.

Correa currently works out of her studio in Placentia, California.
